Must be the unofficial “put dudes from Cold Blue Mountain in your YouTube video day.” Check out Brandon and our buddy Adam in this quick “Meet the Teams” promo video for the upcoming 23rd season of CBS’ The Amazing Race. For more on Brandon and Adam’s long friendship (and how the hell they ended up on TV) check out their full video here.
As some of you know, when we’re not playing with Cold Blue Mountain, we all play in various other bands, mainly because we’re all extreme narcissists who can’t stand not being the center of attention. To that end, one of Sesar’s other projects, the venerable Teeph, just made themselves a pretty epic video. Check it out above, and if you’re into it, you can grab the most recent Teeph record, Vietnamaste as a name-your-price download at Bandcamp.
Stoked to be a part of a rad contest over at Violent Resonance. Just send them your gnarliest metal show story from 2013 via Facebook or e-mail and you’ll be entered to win the entire Gogmagogical Records vinyl catalog, including records from Fister, Kingsblood and the blue/white version of our self-titled album. The easiest wax you’ll find this side of your own damn ear (and maybe even easier than that). Check out the details here and get to entering now. Don’t have a good story? Come to our show on September 19th with Windhand and Amarok and make a memory, man.
Early candidate for greatest show of all time. Check out the details and RSVP on Facebook here. BTW, Windhand’s new record fucking rips. You can stream it here or check out the album opener “Orchard” below
Do you like our band enough to wear an advertisement for us around all day? Of course you do! And we just so happen to have a batch of fresh off the press Matt Loomis designed t-shirts online now*
*beard, hair and authentic working man dirt not included
It’s only fitting that this year’s Epic Fest, hosted by our comrade in riff Sesar Sanchez was, in fact, epic as shit. Pretty much all the bands killed it, Sierra Nevada beer flowed like wine in the KZFR beer garden, cans of Busch beer were cold as a mountain stream, smooth as their name in the backstage area and beautiful women flocked like the salmon of Capistrano. One of them even took some photos of our set. Thanks Michelle!
