Epic Fest 2

Epic Fest 2 PosterNow that we’re home from our little Northwest tour, we’re gonna take a few weeks off to hopefully write some more songs, go to our jobs that actually pay money, and do other cool shit like sweat our goddamn asses off in the hellish climate of Chico, CA. BUT, the next show we have on the docket is worth the wait: we’re headlining the second day of Epic Fest, a two-day heavy music festival in Chico taking place July 24th and 25th. Sesar and Brandon have been putting this thing together for months and have assembled not only the best heavy bands from Northern California, but also some of our favorite bands from other parts of the state and other states completely. Should be a fucking badass time. You can purchase tickets online here and get the full rundown on Facebook.

June Tourdates!

Secrets of the Sky Tour Poster

Since we’re heading to Salt Lake City in June to play this year’s badass Crucialfest, we would be remiss in not playing the fuck out of some other places on the way to and from. To that end, we’ve put together a nice little run of dates. On the way up, we’ll be joining up with Secrets of the Sky and North on their West Coast tour to play San Jose, Chico, Eugene and Portland. …More Like Two Thousand and TOURteen

Cold Blue Mountain on Tour

We’re getting the New Year started in pretty much the same way we got the last one started: by utterly and completely dominating the Pacific Northwest, including but not limited to the great states of California, Oregon, Washington, Cascadia, Jefferson and I’m sure a couple of other made up states that people who live in the forest and hate the government have thought up. We’re starting it out with an awesome tour benefit show at the 1078 Gallery in Chico with our friends and veteran roadmasters Armed for Apocalypse. Try to name a better two-band bill than that (PROTIP: You can’t). From there we’re playing some old haunts  like The Highline in Seattle and The Know in Portland (both of which we’re PUMPED about) but also some places that completely exotic for us, like The Alibi in Arcata with a pretty upset band named Blackwitch Pudding. All said, should be bretty gud, as long as it doesn’t shit snow all over us and/or our bosses/wives/girlfriends/pets don’t decide they’re better off without us while we’re gone. But regardless, looking forward to seeing some friends, and making some new one. Check the dates below.

Brandon is Officially an Amazing Racer

Brandon from Cold Blue Mountain in Amazing Race 23

Pretty stoked to announce that our singer Brandon and his childhood homie Adam (the dude on the right with amazing fashion sense) are contestants on the upcoming season of reality show The Amazing Race. Yeah, the one on TV! The one your mom watches. Your mom will officially be into the same band as you; bummer dude. Check out their awesome intro video here, and set your DVR for the first episode September 29th.

As you may have surmised, this is our fetal website. Hopefully we will have shit for sale soon; you know, cut out the middleman. In the meantime, gaze upon our hamfisted web development skills. And oh yeah, by the way, come to this show: EPIC FEST August 31st, in Chico featuring ourselves, our friends Armed for Apocalypse, and more Northern California metal bands than you can shake a stick at. HELLA
